SKWC Hosts Successful Golf Outing

Monroe Township, N.J. – The SKWC and Rutgers wrestling hosted their annual golf outing on Monday, August 25 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, New Jersey.

More than 140 golfers competed at this year's event, which featured 23 holes sponsors. The outing featured breakfast, a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and a lunch reception at the conclusion of the day. Participants competed in contests such as longest drive, closest to the pin, hit the green, putting and a hole in one challenge.

The SKWC would like to extend a genuine expression of gratitude to all the sponsors, golfers, committee members, volunteers, and staff because of YOU this year's Golf Outing was a complete success.  To our host and everyone associated with Forsgate Country Club, please accept our sincerest thanks and appreciation for your generous and gracious support provided throughout the outing.

The success of the golf outing will enable the SKWC to continue supporting our hard-working resident athletes, their competitions and travel accommodations and overseas, out of season, trips for our athletes. 

As we build from this event's success, we will continue to increase the operational budget of the SKWC. Our goal is to bring a full team of Resident Athletes to Piscataway to chase greatness, and add to our list of World and Olympic winners.  The addition of these athletes is priceless to the Rutgers wrestling team and program.
