Boardwalk 5K Postponed

After consulting with the Borough of Seaside Heights we have made the decision to postpone and reschedule the SKWC Boardwalk 5k Super Bowl Sunday from Super Bowl Sunday to Sunday, April 12, 2026.

We tried everything we could but the boardwalk is still covered with ice. With forecasted wind chills expected to be below zero, we do not feel these conditions would be safe or enjoyable for our runners, walkers, pups, volunteers, or staff. The boardwalk is completely frozen over as well. As always, the safety of our community comes first. We’re excited to still celebrate this event with you on April 12 and look forward to a much more comfortable and fun race day. However, we completely understand that this date change may create a conflict for some participants.

As you know, this is a charity event and we will not be able to refund any participant that can not make the new date.  We have worked hard to put this event together as a fundraiser.
